Small Forest Critters is all done in Raw Edge applique technique. If you hate applique, we are out to convince you that applique is fun. From simple designs, you can work to increasingly challenging ones all in this one pattern. The technique for the quilting is a bit more outside the box, because the pattern explains how to draw simple doodles to make flowers and leaves and how to incorporate decorative stitches.

When you buy a Critters created fabric kit, you get an assortment of 21 colors and textures as similar to the original fabrics as we can find. We give you a list of what is in the kit. You will separate the fabrics for the borders and binding from the group. You decide how to combine the critters and the backgrounds they go on. That way everybody's quilts comes out differently. We use only 100% cotton fabric for quilters for our kits.
