This pattern features chickens, roosters, eggs, baby chicks with instructions for paper piecing the triangle shapes in the "empty" blocks. There are also instructions for using Steam-A-Seam with fabrics on both sides for 3-D tail feathers. Debora used several left over chicken appliqués with tail feathers dangling in a pair of funky pants. They have been washed in the washer, in a net bag, more than thirty times and the adhesive is still holding!

Fabric Kit for Fancy Fowl makes a quilt top approximately 41" x 48" with 30 different cotton fabrics.

Note: The pattern is not included with the fabric, because some of our customers may have previously bought the pattern at a show.

When you buy a Critters created fabric kit, you get an assortment of colors and textures as similar to the original fabrics as we can find. We give you a list of what is in the kit. You will separate the fabrics for the borders and binding from the group. You decide how to combine the critters and the backgrounds they go on. That way everybody's quilts comes out differently.  The fabrics which we use in our kits are 100% cotton for quilters.
