This is the beginning of the border on the left side of the quilt top. The rocks comprizing the wall are felted using a combination of different colors for each stone. The flowers are hand embroidered with pearl cotton thread. As I got more skilled at the embroidery, some of the flower centers and all of the cattails were felted.
