This example is another way of using the sheep designs. I bought a bunch of suiting weight woolens and fused the sheep to the backgrounds and satin stitched them in place. Then I felted some wild wool yarn to one of the sheep and embroidered by hand the expressions on the faces in black thread and the crazy stitches in variegated pearl cotton. Lots more sections to do before I can sew them all together. If I were to do it again, I would use raw edge stitching for the sheep that I felted. It was hard to push the roving through the satin stitching.
